Optimal fitness “is the condition resulting in a lifestyle that leads to the development of an optimal level of cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, and flexibility, as well as, the achievement and maintenance of ideal body weight.”

I personally feel that having a sensible, exercise regimen and nutritional plan is a very important for maintaining optimal health. Doing regular workouts can help our cardiovascular health greatly and can have a positive impact on our body and mind. In fact, regular exercise is one of the most effective treatments for mild to moderate depression. It can also improve our sleep, reduce stress, help with weight management, enhance energy and endurance.
