Do you need to put a stop to daily stress? Are you doing your best to live a healthier life? Are you wanting to create a happier you? For me, it's yes to all of the above! Over these last 4-5 years, I've been working on being physically fit, working out from home 4-6 days a week, some months I will be super fit while others I struggle. Missing a workout here and there can take its toll on your body. But thankfully, I never give up? No! I look at ways to get back into the swing of things. I've now turned to some mighty motivators that make me want to move! Those motivators are my essential oils!

Motivation for Workouts at Home

Anyone that knows me, knows that I love doing my workouts from home. It's my thing that I love to do! You can get up early in the morning, your hair can look a mess (because no one is going to be watching you) and you get workout done before heading out to work. Exercising at home is even better when you have some essential oils on hand. I diffuse for the right atmosphere. High-intensity cardio calls for energising oils like Peppermint and Lemon. When I seek more relaxation and tranquillity, I set the mood for yoga with grounding Frankincense.

Motivation for The Gym

Unlike me, some of you may actually enjoy the gym. Like my daughter who heads to the gym before going to work. I don't know how she actually does it! Here are some hacks that were recommended to me, as I do intend to head to the gym once I've moved house in the next coming months. I'll let you know when that happens!

  • Hydrate for a happy body. Add a drop of Grapefruit Vitality™ to your water for tasty hydration as you fast-track those weight-management goals. Slip from your reusable water bottle and ditch the disposable kind.

  • Get those gains! Maximize your workout with nutrition. Add Pure Protein Complete™- your choice between delicious Chocolate Deluxe or Vanilla Spice– to your diet for the extra protein your body needs to build and maintain muscle. Drink within 30 minutes of your workout for optimal use.

  • Stretch out the soreness. Keep a bottle of Cool Azul™ Sports Gel or Ortho Sport® Massage Oil in your gym bag to rub into tired muscles while you stretch.

Motivation for the Yoga Studio

Yoga is great for your mind, body, and spirit. Although, I must confess, my balance is something to be desired. It's needs some serious work but thankfully I have essential oils to help promote relaxation and balance. Putt a drop of Frankincense directly on the crown of your head or on each wrist. You’ll catch occasional scents of the inspiring, grounding fragrance.

Afterwards, you can soak in relaxation, draw a warm bath with 2 drops each of Frankincense and Lavender to 1/4 cup Epsom salt for a rewarding recovery.

And keep your yoga mat clean with this easy DIY recipe. Mix the following in a glass spray bottle and spritz your mat after every yoga workout:

  • 1 cup distilled water

  • 1/4 cup witch hazel

  • 10 drops Tea Tree

  • 10 drops Thieves
